IE University MUN
Madrid, Spain
Applications for our delegation to IEUMUN 2026 are now open.
Background
Join us to IE University Model United Nations conference in the heart of the Spanish capital!
The IE University Model United Nations (IEUMUN) is Europe's largest charity Model UN conference and one of the biggest MUNs on the continent. The conference, hosted on IE University's Madrid campus, the IE Tower, invites over 450 delegates from all around the world to develop their diplomatic and soft skills in debating about a diverse range of topics.
You will have the chance to meet a diverse array of motivated young people from all over the world to discuss the most pressing global challenges of the future. IE University is a world-class, top-ranked, multi-lingual university with a campus in Madrid. The university ranked 25th globally in the Times Higher Education Global Employability Ranking 2020, so this is also an excellent opportunity to network!
This year’s edition features 16 different committees, and a brand new addition - the International Monetary Fund, as an expert committee for delegates who enjoy discussing economics and finance-based topics - along with returning features, such as the Press committee and an exciting 4-cabinet crisis.

The Preparatory Track for Leiden MUN’s delegation to IEUMUN 2026 will run for seven weeks (excluding exams weeks), starting in September 2025. Delegates will be thoroughly trained in the arts of public speaking, negotiation, resolution writing, leadership and more.
The Prep Track is composed of weekly Skills Labs that take place every Tuesday evening, Mock Sessions every Wednesday evening (both in the Hague), and individual meetings with your Personal Development Mentor throughout the week.
Moreover, we offer delegates the enriching experience of visiting embassies within The Hague and networking with their representatives and officials. Previous visits to embassies include:
This allows you the unique experience of engaging in dynamic and thought-provoking conversations with professionals in the International Relations and Diplomacy fields.
